Life Group 1.29.12

Life Group this week will be at the home of Josh and Marla Morris. We are going to be looking at God’s response to prayer so we might be encouraged to pray. This will be a stand alone study and we will start a new study the week after the Super Bowl. We will meet from 5-5:45 and then go out to eat together afterward. Please check back later this week to vote for the restaurant of choice. We will also be providing a sign-up sheet for hosting group.

As discussed during our last Life Group, we have two options for a Bible study and would like everyone to vote on which one you want to study. One of the studies is “The Prayer Life of Jesus” and will focus on the different aspects of how Jesus prayed and would teach us how to pray more like Him. The other study is an in-depth look at the book of Habakkuk using  material developed by Matt Chandler.  Please think and pray about the study that best interests you and vote on the poll below.

Life Group 1.22.12

For Life Group this week, we will be meeting at Freebirds on Bay Area at 6. We wanted to spend one more week hanging out as a group before we jump in to our next study. Sunday Game Night 1.15.12

We are jumping back in to group by having a game night at the Millers. We invite everyone to come and bring any games you might recommend. Bring your own dinner or feel free to eat before you come. Christmas Party 12.18.11

Our Annual Christmas Party will be this coming Sunday, the 18th starting at 6 at the home of Ruben and Ashley Almanza. We will do what we have done in the past for food, so everyone please sign up to bring a finger food and/or dessert to share by leaving a comment below. We will also be doing our white elephant gift exchange. If you are a couple, you should bring one gag gift and one real gift. If you are a single, you can choose which type gift you want to bring. The limit per gift is $10.

Ruben and Ashley will be providing the drinks. We will need one volunteer to bring cups, plates, and silverware.

Life Group 11.20.2011 – Thanksgiving Party

It’s almost turkey time, and I don’t know about you, but my stomach is already growling in anticipation! Since 5:00 is a little early to eat, let’s plan on starting around 6:00. We’ll be meeting at the home of Ben and Rachel. If you need the address, just comment or email and we’ll be in touch.

We started a food Sign-Up list at Life Group last week, so if you weren’t able to sign-up yet, please take the time to do it no later than Friday. That gives our cooks time to prepare the feast and gives us a number to count on.

Life Group 10.23.11/ Fall Fun Fair

This week Life Group will be at the home of Andy and Amy Johnston. We will meet from 5-6 and be concluding our Not A Fan series.
